New Arrivals: New elemense Fragrances by Nippon Kodo

We are pleased to introduce two new fragrances from the elemense fragrance collection by Nippon Kodo.

The elemense collection, inspired by the relationship between fragrance, nature, and space, has expanded with two new scents based on the ancient philosophy of Yin and Yang.

Originally inspired by the five elements of nature—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—the elemense collection now offers seven fragrances, adding two new expressions that explore the harmony between opposing yet complementary energies.

In the philosophy of Yin and Yang, all things in nature are believed to exist through the balance of two opposing forces. elemense interprets this concept through fragrance, creating scents that express different states of nature, atmosphere, and emotion.

New Fragrance Additions

ei-u 翳雨 / Yin

A fragrance of quiet clarity inspired by the gentle presence of rain.

The sound of rain and the colours reflected on wet surfaces inspire this serene fragrance. A refined composition of sumi (ink) and fresh moss creates a calm and elegant atmosphere, inviting moments of stillness and reflection.

」kon-fu 金風 / Yang

A fragrance of warmth and energy inspired by sunlight carried across the sea.

A nostalgic and elegant gardenia fragrance is complemented by the refreshing and vibrant character of akashiso (red shiso), creating a bright and uplifting scent that brings a feeling of openness and vitality.
